Sunday Nights at The Clift
Dearest Diary,
This Sunday last
a couple of #Societygirls
(Caron x Jaz)
and I
dolled up in our signature hue of
noir,
with me donning one of my fav
#Vintage Versace pieces,
(which I acquired two xmas's ago
as a gift someone fabulous purchased for me
from one of my fav SF vintage boutiques
met up with
Marc
and went on to attend
an attractive situation
at
The Redwood Room
over in
The Clift Hotel
you know the spot with the images
covering the redwood walls
that are giving you
Harry Potter
as they eerily yet intriguingly
move about in the frame.
Though The Clift is one of our
choice hangouts
I haven't been in about a year
I was happy to find that, that air of
allure & marvel
have yet to go missing from the place.
It must
become a more frequently visited
location once more.
The evening of course
didn't disappoint
I'm still on a signature cocktail of
vodka x soda
I've now narrowed the
vodka preference down to
Grey Goose Cherry Noir
of which I had 1.
I also did the Yacht club vodka
of the table with Seltzer
and two glasses
of
The Beau Joie Brut
that was stationed
in an ice bucket stand beside us.
Shabazz
was once more the curator
of the evenings soundtrack.
He kept the night cute per usu.
We sat at the table of
The Gentlemen
responsible for
the evenings affair
Marquis of Concrete Hill Sf
&
Demetrius of Location 415
We exchanged conversation about
career choices, travel,
and friendship
with the well rounded gentlemen friends
of theirs that
were also seated at the table.
One of which
who was a
retired overseas basketball player
turned girls basketball coach
x middle school counselor,
and the other who
instructs 2nd grade
and moonlights as a barber.
I also made fast friends with Tran Phamily
better known in the instagram world as
_badbarbie,
an adorable little vitnamese doll
dressed causually
yet marvelously
in a petite beige trench, bucket hat,
and booties,
who was also seated at the same table
as her boyfriend was
one of the host for the evening.
We connected over delightful conversation
about the magic tradeshow
which she was set to attend Monday,
nightlife and the power of branding.
The melodic mood
was set to swank
as always with
The Redwood Room,
as we casually sipped our beverages
snapped our
properly polished fingers
and cutely bounced to the beats of the evening
in between bouts of
charming conversation.
Lovely deal of a night
I'm thinking we'll need to give a
Darling Society affair
there.
But 1st we must
xX, Darling Bonnie
